Yeli is a prepaid grocery acquisition and distribution service that helps you save consistently for your groceries. You choose a fixed monthly amount to prepay. After your saving cycle (11 or 6 months), you receive a grocery allocation based on your total prepaid amount, minus a 20% administration fee.
We offer four distinct services:
Refer to Section 3 of our Terms and Conditions for full details.
This is a fixed fee that covers the operational costs of running your plan. It includes services like customer support, payment processing, supplier coordination, and organising the collection events where you receive your groceries.
The consequences depend on when you miss the payment:
This is covered in detail in Section 5 of our Terms and Conditions.
Yes, but only until 30 June. If you join late, you must immediately pay for all months from the cycle start date (e.g., if joining in April, you pay for January, February, March, and April). No late joining is permitted after 30 June under any circumstances.
You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you sign up. During this time, you can cancel for a full refund (minus the administration fee on any payments made).
After 14 days, all payments are non-refundable. Your prepaid amount secures your future grocery allocation. This is a fundamental aspect of our service model.
Our complete Refund Policy governs this area.
You collect your groceries at a scheduled event. We will notify you of the specific date, time, and location for collection in your allocation month:

You receive a curated allocation based on your total prepaid value. We select high-quality, staple grocery items to provide excellent value. We reserve the right to substitute any product with an item of equal or greater value based on supplier availability and seasonal factors.

The group selects one person as the Group Leader. This person acts as the main contact with Yeli and coordinates with group members. The entire group must be on the same cycle (11-month or Flex6) and the same monthly contribution amount. The group receives their allocations together at the same collection event.
Yeli Workforce is a grocery-only, 11-month savings plan facilitated through employers for their staff. It follows the same rules as the individual stokvel but is managed through the company’s HR or designated coordinator. This is a employee benefit program.
